The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) projects economic growth rates in the country to accelerate in the first quarter of the current year.
CEC Chairman Arthur Javadyan stated the above-said during Friday’s National Assembly debates on the 2016 monetary policy performance report (inflation report) of the bank.
In his words, this policy has fulfilled its tasks.
Javadyan added that economic growth rates in Armenia will accelerate in the first quarter of 2017 owing to the gradual resumption of domestic demand, effective implementation of several government programs, and continued improvement of the foreign economic climate.
